Nevertheless, our January Dairy Pick of the Month has to be Turkey Hill’s new ice cream mystery flavour that has customers across the US putting their taste buds to the test to guess the new flavour and a lifetime supply of ice cream. A great innovative way by Turkey Hill to engage their customers and create excitement around the brand!

6 New Filled Stick (Paleta) Flavours for Zacateca in Peru
Peruvian brand, Zacateca, led by ice cream maker, Sandra da Ponte has released their
‘Supreme’ line which includes 6 filled ice cream sticks (‘paletas’). The six flavours are: Lucuma (a popular Peruvian fruit)-filled fudge, mint-filled fudge, chocolate-filled fudge, passion-fruit filled with ‘dulce de leche’, and lemon and strawberry pie filled with condensed milk.
Each stick, sold for S.8 SOL (approximately €1.87 / $2 USD) is covered in a thick layer of chocolate by La Ibérica to create a truly indulgent treat for their customers.

Little Debbies Partners with Hudsonville Ice Cream to Launch 7 Flavours
Little Debbies and Hudsonville Ice Cream have once again teamed up to add a tasty new twist to Little Debbie’s traditional snack cakes by turning 7 of their flavours into ice cream. Ice cream lovers across the US will be able to enjoy the following flavours:
Swiss Rolls: Chocolate cake ice cream with chocolate cake pieces and a swirl of whipped cream.
Oatmeal Creme Pies: Vanilla creme ice cream featuring soft oatmeal cookie pieces and a dab of molasses.
Honey Buns: Honey bun flavoured ice cream alongside glazed honey bun bits and a cinnamon swirl.
Cosmic Brownies: Brownie batter ice cream stuffed with mini rainbow chips and brownie bits.
Zebra Cakes: White cake ice cream with yellow cake pieces and a milk chocolate fudge swirl.
Nutty Bars: Peanut butter ice cream swirled with chocolate waffle cone pieces and a thick fudge swirl.
Strawberry Shortcake Rolls: White cake ice cream with yellow cake pieces and a tart strawberry swirl.
They will be available at Walmart stores across the US as of February 1st, retailing at $2.50 USD each.

Angel Delight Turns to Ice Cream Pints in the UK
UK frozen foods store, Iceland, has announced the launch of Angel Delight ice cream tubs.
The new launch comes in a strawberry and butterscotch flavour, in a 800ml tub and retails at £3 / (approx. $4 USD).
A brand filled with nostalgia for UK consumers, they are now offering a new soft serve-style ice cream drawing inspiration from the original light and airy texture of the first Angel Delight desserts.

New Twist on Cones by Wells Enterprises
Three new varieties of Blue Bunny Twist Cones have been released by Wells Enterprises. The three flavour combinations are Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Vanilla. Each cone is filled with two scoops of soft-serve ice cream with a twist of fudge or strawberry.
They are individually wrapped in 4.5-ounce packs and sold in boxes of four at approximately $3.99 USD in the US.

Haagen-Dazs Also Adds a New Twist to their Singapore Pints
Häagen-Dazs in Singapore have introduced a new Twist & Crunch ice cream pint (14oz) line this January to encourage consumers to explore different taste and texture sensations in one pint. With three refined flavour combinations:
Belgian Chocolate & Vanilla Crunch featuring crunchy chocolate stracciatella pieces;
Belgian Chocolate & Strawberry Crunch which includes 50% cocoa, strawberry ice cream and strawberry bits; and
Dark Chocolate & Green Tea which is a 72% dark chocolate ice cream infused with umami matcha green tea ice cream.
We hope that Haagen-Dazs will extend this range to other markets as well so that ice cream lovers around the world can experience the new taste and texture sensations.

‘Spoil Yourself Sweet’ with Haagen-Dazs New Line
Continuing their indulgent pints across the world, Haagen-Dazs are also introducing the “Spoil Yourself Sweet” line in the United States. Arriving in 14oz pints, the line will include five indulgent flavours:
Summer Berry Cake Pop: Strawberry ice cream swirled into sweet cream ice cream with fluffy cake pieces and raspberry sauce.
Black & White Cookie: this flavour combines vanilla bean ice cream with soft cookie pieces and layers of chocolate frosting.
Dulce De Leche Churro: Cinnamon churro ice cream alongside thick, gooey dulce de leche sauce and mixed with crunchy cinnamon churro bites.
Coffee Chocolate Brownie: Classic coffee ice cream twirled around gooey brownies, espresso chocolate sauce and crunchy cocoa pieces.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel: Chocolate ice cream incorporating peanut butter and topped with crunchy salted pretzel pieces.

Breyers Boasts 5 New Flavours Including 2 CarbSmart Options
Breyers in the US are releasing five new dairy ice cream flavours this year. The first three flavours that ice cream fans can tuck into are ‘Breyers Very Berry Cobbler’, ‘Breyers Banana Split’, and ‘M&M’s MINIS Caramel Fudge’.
The brand has also expanded their CarbSmart Choice portfolio with two new additions: ‘Brownie a la Mode’ and ‘Mint Fudge Cookie’. Both CarbSmart flavours are available in a 48oz tub with a total of 5g carbs and 4-5g of sugar per two-third cup serving.
All of Breyers ice cream offerings are available in US retail at approximately $3.99 per tub. The brand claims they are made with 100% Grade A milk and with cows' cream that hasn't been treated with artificial growth hormones.

Magnum Makes First Double-Dipped Ice Cream Bar
Following Magnum’s recent vegan ice cream releases, the Unilever brand has also launched three new dairy offerings under their Duet line. These new bars are the first bars of their kind to be dipped in two types of chocolate, hence the inclusion of ‘duet’ in the name.
The Almond Duet contains almond ice cream and brown sugar almond butter dipped in milk chocolate and sprinkled with almond bits before being half dipped again in dark chocolate.
The Chocolate Duet bar features white chocolate-dipped vanilla ice cream and raspberry swirls that is then half dipped in milk chocolate.
Finally, the Cookie Duet is a vanilla ice cream bar with a swirl of ganache dipped first in white chocolate and topped with cookie bits before being half dipped in milk chocolate.
Magnum will be appearing in US retailers at an average RRP of $4.49 USD.

Klondike Creates New Cones
There will be five new Klondike Cones on US retail shelves in 2022:
Coocoo for Caramel: a crispy wafer cone featuring a caramel frozen dessert with a crunchy, chocolatey topping and roasted peanuts, paired with a caramel sauce core and a chocolate tip.
Vanilla Caramel Classic: as above, a crispy wafer cone that features a vanilla frozen dessert with a crunchy, chocolatey topping and roasted peanuts, paired with a caramel sauce core and chocolate tip.
Cookies ‘n Cream: a crispy wafer cone with a creamy vanilla dessert, crunchy chocolate cookie topping, a chocolate sauce core, and a chocolate tip.
REESE’S Peanut Butter: a crispy wafer cone with peanut butter, a chocolate swirl and a sweet chocolate coating.
REESE’S Chocolate: a crispy wafer cone that boasts a delicious frozen chocolate goodness and rich chocolate swirl, with an irresistible peanut butter core filling and a luscious chocolate coating.
Available in multipacks, Klondike Cones are available in packs of 8 for $6.49 RRP each in US retailers.

Every Day is Sundae with Ben & Jerry’s New Pints
The world’s most well-known ice cream brand has introduced yet another new range of ice
cream pints, this time inspired by the classic sundae dessert. With three dairy flavours in the line and a fourth vegan flavour, the pints will be topped with whipped ice cream - a first for the brand.

Birthday Cake Viennetta for Wall’s 100th Birthday
Unilever are celebrating the 100th birthday of their Wall’s brand in the UK with the new limited
edition version of their iconic Viennetta brand in a birthday cake flavour.
Mixing vanilla and strawberry-flavoured ice cream with crackling chocolate layers and colourful sprinkles, this new retro Viennetta will be sold in stores for a limited time only at an RRP of £1.84-£2.50.

Oreo Launches Own-Brand Ice Cream Innovations
For the first time in history, Oreo have launched their very own branded ice cream line. Branching out from the co-branding options they have been successful with so far, Oreo have brought to market four new products: Oreo Bars, Oreo Cones, Oreo Sandwiches, and Oreo Ice Cream.
The signature USP will be that instead of using plain vanilla ice cream, Oreo’s branded launches will contain an ice cream base that tastes exactly like Oreo's signature cream cookie stuffing as well as bits of Oreo pieces.
Oreo’s new line of frozen goodies will be available in select US stores right now before expanding to US stores nationwide by March, 2022.

US ice cream brand, Turkey Hill, has created a new campaign to grab their customers' attention by asking them to taste and guess their new mystery ice cream flavour. Consumers
who correctly guess the flavour will be entered into a draw for the chance of winning free Turkey Hill ice cream for life! That means one 48-ounce container of ice cream every month for 50 years.
Turkey Hill will share the correct answer on March 15th so consumers must enter online or via the QR code on the product

Udderly Delicious New Flavour by Udders
Singapore-based ice cream parlour chain, Udders has launched another seasonal special to celebrate the Chinese New Year, this time in Mandarin Orange Chocolate flavour.
The new flavour, featuring dark chocolate and mandarin oranges, can be enjoyed in pint format ($14.65 SGD / €9.70) or in scoops from Udder’s physical stores for $5 SGD / €3 per scoop.

Singapore’s Sugalight Adds Black Sesame Flavour
Sugalight Ice Cream brand, also in Singapore, now offers a new black sesame flavour to it’s ice cream portfolio. The new flavour will continue the trend of being sugar-free and low-fat, like the other flavours in the Sugalight range.
The ice cream was awarded HPB’s ‘Healthier Choice’ logo due to its use of natural sugar replacements - Xylitol and Maltitol - to create a healthier ice cream option for its customers.
The pints are also high in prebiotic soluble fibres to improve gut health, and the brand claims it keeps its fat content to 8% while retaining the ideal level of creaminess that their customers love.
